The machine is equipped with 1 powerful 20 W UV-A lamp that attracts insects towards an electric grid (zapper function) where they are neutralized immediately. This is an active insect catcher – not a repellent mosquito protection.

When the insects are drawn towards the light, they hit the electric high-voltage grid and are neutralized immediately. The remains collect in the collection tray which can be easily emptied.
