RA CO2 Booster Kit

Increase the effectiveness of your AMT-200 by adding carbon dioxide (CO2) – the mosquito's primary attractant. With the RA CO2 Booster Kit, you can use a regular CO2 cartridge instead of propane and thereby enhance the trapping efficiency.

The booster kit is a Swedish-developed connection system that connects to standard 425 g / 60L threaded CO2 cartridges. These cartridges are used for common soda machines and are part of a nationwide return system where empty bottles can easily be exchanged for full ones in grocery stores, electronics shops, and hardware stores.

By adding CO2, the AMT-200 mimics human breath, causing more mosquitoes to seek the machine’s vacuum intake – especially during periods of high mosquito activity.

Use only standard cartridges with threads. Does not work with Quick Connect systems.

Note! CO2 cartridge is not included.

Installation Instructions – Booster Kit for AMT-200

The booster kit supplies carbon dioxide (CO₂) to your AMT-200 and enhances the attractant effect by mimicking human breath. Uses standard 425 g / 60L threaded CO2 cartridges (not compatible with Quick Connect).

1. Attach the CO2 cartridge

   Screw the cartridge into the regulator (threading underneath). Tighten by hand until you hear a "hiss", then continue until it becomes silent.

2. Attach the hose

   Slide the hose onto the regulator’s nipple and tighten the threaded sleeve. Push the other end into the quick coupling on the back of the AMT-200 (under the cap).

3. Open and adjust the flow

   Open the top valve fully clockwise and then turn back about ¼ turn. Open the fine adjustment valve (counterclockwise) until it starts to hiss.

   Check the flow by holding the hose end in a glass of water and count the bubbles per minute:

   • 35 bubbles/min ≈ about 1 bottle/month
   • 70 bubbles/min ≈ about 2 bottles/month
   • For very large mosquito amounts: up to 100 bubbles/min temporarily

4. Position the bottle correctly

   The bottle should always stand or hang in an upright position.

Routine checks

• Check bubbles once a week
• Replace the bottle when empty
• Adjust flow when mosquito numbers increase or decrease
