Thermacell Refill 12 hours is a compact and convenient refill pack for shorter use. Perfect for a weekend, a fishing trip, or as a spare in your backpack.

The package contains both a gas cartridge and mosquito repellent mats and provides up to 12 hours of protection.

How the Thermacell refill works

The gas cartridge powers the device and heats up the mosquito repellent mat. When the mat heats up, a mosquito-repelling substance is released, creating a protective zone around you.

Replace the mat when it fades and change the gas cartridge according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

• All Thermacell models except Backpacker.

Important information

Mosquito repellent mats must not be discarded in nature or in water bodies. Dispose of them according to local waste regulations.

Other important information

• Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
• Mats with mosquito repellent are a pesticide against mosquitoes and must not be used where there is a risk of exposure to aquatic environments.
• Mats with mosquito repellent may only be used in the designated apparatus. Thermacell Mosquito Protection is for outdoor use only. Do not use indoors, in tents, or other enclosed spaces. Using it other than as stated here can cause higher concentrations which may be irritating; ensure fresh air and take breaks.
• In case of ingestion of mats, drink water or milk and contact a doctor.
• Unused mats should be stored cool and dry in closed packaging. Mats and used devices are considered hazardous waste and must be taken to an approved waste disposal site. Opened mat packages and used mats must not be reused.
• Each mosquito repellent mat lasts up to 4 hours. The mat is blue at first but fades and finally turns white when the active ingredient has completely been released and the mat is therefore spent. Vapors may sometimes be visible during use, which is completely normal. Do not expose the device or mats to rain.
