Rapid Action Green Octenol is an effective scent cartridge that enhances the attraction effect in your mosquito trap. The scent mimics human exhalation and the natural odors of the skin, causing mosquitoes and midges to perceive the machine as a human.

The green variant is designed to function optimally in areas where both mosquitoes and midges are present.

The green scent contains a combination of Octenol (1-octen-3-ol) and lactic acid. The combination makes it especially effective when several biting species occur simultaneously.

It is particularly suitable in:

Octenol acts as an attractant which, together with carbon dioxide, significantly increases the trapping effect. When lactic acid is added, the attraction broadens to more species.

Other important information

• Follow the instructions that come with the product. Never disassemble or cut open the Octenol cartridge itself (i.e. the hard plastic casing). Doing so risks direct contact with the Octenol substance inside the cartridge. Using it in any other way than specified here can cause higher concentrations which may be harmful to health and cause irritation.
• In case of ingestion of the Octenol substance inside the cartridge, immediately call the Poison Control Center or a doctor for advice. Have the person drink water in small sips.
• If the concentrated substance inside the cartridge comes into contact with your skin or eyes, immediately wash the skin or rinse the eye slowly and carefully with plenty of water.
• If a person inhales a high concentration of Octenol, ensure fresh air and rest.
• Unused cartridges should be stored in a cool, dry place.
