Predator Dynamic is a mosquito trap that captures mosquitoes and gnats in two ways: they are sucked into a capture basket or stuck on a sticky paper.

This mosquito killer attracts mosquitoes and gnats by simulating a human, partly with carbon dioxide that mimics our exhaled breath and certain odors we emit. Three different scents fit this Predator Dynamic: Black, Green, and Red Rapid Action Octenol. Additionally, Predator Dynamic also attracts mosquitoes and gnats through heat and UV light that turns on when the machine is running.

Rapid Action Sticky Paper

Specially designed sticky paper catches the insects that are not sucked into the capture basket. The insects are attracted by the paper consisting of white and black stripes. Occasionally, insects not sucked into the machine such as horseflies and flies can also be caught, although a propane trap is not a "horsefly and fly machine".

Multi-scent system with Rapid Action Octenol

Other important information

  • Follow the instructions included with the product. Never disassemble or cut open the Octenol cartridge itself, i.e., the hard plastic casing. Doing so risks direct contact with the Octenol substance inside the cartridge. Using it in any way other than stated here may cause higher concentrations which can be harmful and irritating to health.
  • In case of ingestion of the Octenol substance inside the cartridge, immediately call the Poison Control Center or a doctor for advice. Let the person drink water in small sips.
  • If the concentrated substance inside the cartridge gets on your skin or in your eyes, immediately wash the skin or rinse the eyes slowly and carefully with plenty of water.
  • If a person inhales a high concentration of Octenol, ensure fresh air and rest.
  • Unused octenol tablets should be stored in a cool, dry place.

    Vi hade 2 st sådana här mellan grannarna i mitt förra hus och när vi flyttade i vintras köpte jag förstås en ny för att ha på nya stället. Till en början fångade den inte speciellt mycket förutom några kryp som råkade flyga på papperet, men det visade sig helt bero på placeringen. Den står nu på en plats där den står i skugga från sen eftermiddag och hela kvällen, d.v.s den tid då knotten är som mest irriterande, och det gjorde susen! Nu formligen dammsuger den bland knotten, papperet blir fullt på bara några dagar och i fångstkorgen har jag numera en tjock sörja med knott. Kan verkligen rekommendera den här produkten. Att ha en fin trädgård är inte mycket värt om man är tvungen att sitta inne i vardagsrummet på sommarkvällarna, som annars hade varit fallet för oss. Tummen upp!

    I purchased My Predator Dynamo online. I think that part of the website was new so there were a few teething problems for ordering and payments to Italy. I can quite honestly say that I’m fortunate to have had a few problems with postage and payment because I had the opportunity to engage with the owners Nicklas and Asa. The issues were ironed out very quickly with rapid responses and calls. For a brief summary please see the end of this post. Good customer service is rare these days. I have been surprised at how attentive and supportive the service was. I discovered that help was always there even in the evenings. I did not feel inconvenienced in any way but I was still offered a gesture of goodwill. My parcel arrived yesterday nicely packaged with a hand written note and some extra goodies inside, thank you. I loved the very subtle smell of the smidge repellent. The instructions were huge, clear and printed on quality paper. No reading glasses needed. The Predator was up and running within 15 minutes. There is a huge diagram showing the best position for the Predator. I was still slightly uncertain due to my water wells and wind direction. when I purchased the Predator Nicklas said that he was happy to offer me further advice on positioning it so I took him up on this offer. Yet again I had a email back very quickly yesterday evening offering me further advice. Amazing. The machine feels sturdy and well made. It is bigger than I expected but very easy to assemble. There is 3 different sized posts designed to attain the perfect height for different varieties of mosquitos. the correct height is used in tandem with the 3 different lure tablets. I think a lot of thought has gone into designing this trap. It is still early in the season by I decided to start running it anyway. I had lots of midges and a few mosquitos last night. Surprising as there is nothing really about yet. The sticky paper worked very well, we have little tiny bugs that don’t bite but get into everything. There were notably drawn to the sticky paper. In one day it has hundreds, a huge bonus for me as I wasn’t expecting this. I did use the green tablet though which attracts midges and gnats. I was just surprised at how effective the paper is. in the summer I will use the tropical lure table because we have tiger mosquitos here. Something I didn’t expected was the disco light show. It has a green flashing lights with a red glow and also an ultralight bulb. It is very subtle and not an issue. The fan is a nice gentle hum and not intrusive either. You would not trip over this in the dark. I have a Glamping business in Puglia so I decided to invest in the Predator for my guests to enjoy mosquito free holidays. I did lots of research before hand. Last year I purchased a mosquito magnet, it never arrived. It was then too late in the season to order another one and I decided to wait for this year. My friends also bought a magnet, having seen the operation of their machine and the harvest last year I decided against it. The running costs are also quite high and it was twice the price of the Predator. I wanted to do a longer pre review because I found no other customer comments online. When the season kicks in I will update this review and let you know how my Predator is performing but for now I am very happy. A summary. Excellent, a very personal customer service. I felt that they really cared about my order and satisfaction. Sturdy good solid construction. Easy to assemble. Quick postal service at a reasonable cost. The best response time to emails even out of hours.
