R-Octenol – for increased attraction power

R-Octenol is used together with the machine's carbon dioxide production and mimics human scent. The combination makes mosquitoes and midges perceive the trap as a human, which increases attraction and improves catch efficiency.

For best results, the octenol tablet should be replaced approximately every 30 days.

• Follow the instructions included with the product. Never disassemble or cut open the Octenol cartridge itself (i.e., the hard plastic casing). Doing so risks direct contact with the Octenol agent inside the cartridge. Use other than as indicated here may cause higher concentrations which can be harmful to health and cause irritation.
• In case of ingestion of the Octenol agent inside the cartridge, immediately call Poison Control or a doctor for advice. Let the person drink water in small sips.
• If the concentrated agent inside the cartridge comes into contact with your skin or eyes, immediately wash the skin or rinse the eye slowly and gently with plenty of water.
• If a person inhales a high concentration of Octenol, ensure fresh air and rest.
• Unused cartridges should be stored in a cool, dry place.
