R-Octenol Refill Bottle 20 ml

With the R-Octenol refill bottle, you can fill your capsules yourself and adjust the strength as needed. This gives you full control over the attractant effect in your mosquito trap – and is also a more economical alternative than buying pre-filled capsules every time.

The bottle contains highly concentrated R-Octenol and is intended for refilling Octenol capsules in compatible mosquito traps.

R-Octenol has a long shelf life (several years if stored properly). When the bottle is closed it is odorless and can be stored together with other household chemicals. Keep out of reach of children.

Remember to fill the capsule before use.

How to fill the R-Octenol capsule:

1. Place the blunt needle tip onto the syringe.
2. Insert the syringe tip into the top of the drop bottle.
3. Turn the bottle upside down and draw 1-2 ml of R-Octenol into the syringe.
4. Place the capsule on the table.
5. Calmly pour the syringe contents over the capsule.
6. Wait while the liquid is absorbed by the capsule.
7. It is now ready to be used as a new capsule.
8. Repeat filling every 3-5 weeks.

Other important information

• Follow the instructions that come with the product. Never dismantle or cut open the actual R-Octenol cartridge (i.e., the hard plastic casing). Doing so risks direct contact with the R-Octenol agent inside the cartridge. Using it in ways other than those described here can cause higher concentrations which may be harmful to health and cause irritation.
• If R-Octenol agent inside the cartridge is ingested, immediately call the Poison Control Center or a doctor for advice. Let the person drink water in small sips.
• If the concentrated agent inside the cartridge gets on your skin or in your eyes, immediately wash the skin or rinse the eye slowly and carefully with plenty of water.
• If a person inhales a high concentration of R-Octenol, provide fresh air and rest.
• Unused cartridges should be stored in a cool and dry place.
