Rapid Action Red Octenol is a scent cartridge that enhances the attraction effect in your mosquito trap. The scent mimics human exhalation and the natural odors of the skin, making mosquitoes perceive the machine as a human.

The red variant is specially designed for areas with high mosquito activity and warmer climates.

Adapted for more aggressive species

The red scent contains a combination of Octenol (1-octen-3-ol) and a higher proportion of lactic acid. This composition has been shown to be effective against more aggressive and heat-adapted mosquito species.

It is particularly suitable for:

Octenol acts as a lure that, together with carbon dioxide, significantly increases the catch efficiency. For best results, the scent should be replaced regularly during the season.

Other Important Information

• Follow the instructions that accompany the product. Never disassemble or cut open the Octenol cartridge itself (i.e., the hard plastic casing). Doing so risks direct contact with the Octenol agent inside the cartridge. Using it other than as specified can cause higher concentrations which may be hazardous to health and cause irritation.
• In case of ingestion of the Octenol agent inside the cartridge, immediately call the Poison Control Center or a doctor for advice. Allow the person to drink water in small sips.
• If the concentrated agent inside the cartridge gets on your skin or in your eyes, immediately wash the skin or rinse the eye slowly and gently with plenty of water.
• If a person inhales a high concentration of Octenol, ensure fresh air and rest.
• Unused cartridges should be stored in a cool, dry place.
