UV Lamp – Should Be Replaced Annually

The UV lamp is a central part of the AMT 100’s attraction system. Even if the lamp still lights up, the ultraviolet effect decreases over time.

For best results, we recommend replacing the lamp at least once a year. This ensures:

• Stable attraction effect
• High capture capacity
• Optimal function throughout the season

Green Octenol – Effective Against Mosquitoes and Gnats

Green Octenol contains a combination of Octenol (1-octen-3-ol) and lactic acid. The scent mimics human presence and enhances the machine’s attraction effect.

The green variant is especially adapted for areas where both mosquitoes and gnats are present.

Other Important Information

• Follow the instructions provided with the product. Never disassemble or cut open the Octenol cartridge itself (i.e., the hard plastic casing). Doing so risks direct contact with the Octenol substance inside the cartridge. Using it other than as specified here may cause higher concentrations that can be harmful to health and cause irritation.
• In case of ingestion of the Octenol substance inside the cartridge, immediately call the Poison Control Center or a doctor for advice. Have the person drink water in small sips.
• If the concentrated substance inside the cartridge comes into contact with your skin or eyes, immediately wash the skin or rinse the eye slowly and gently with plenty of water.
• If a person inhales a high concentration of Octenol, ensure fresh air and rest.
• Unused cartridges should be stored in a cool and dry place.
