Rapid Action Green Octenol is an effective scent cartridge that enhances the attractant effect in your mosquito trap. The scent mimics human breath and the skin's natural odors, causing mosquitoes and gnats to perceive the machine as a human.

The green variant is designed to work optimally in areas where both mosquitoes and gnats are present.

The green scent contains a combination of Octenol (1-octen-3-ol) and lactic acid. The combination makes it particularly effective when several biting species are present simultaneously.

Enhances the machine's effectiveness

Octenol acts as an attractant which, together with carbon dioxide, significantly increases the catch effect. When lactic acid is added, the attraction is broadened to more species.

Other important information

• Follow the instructions provided with the product. Never disassemble or cut open the Octenol cartridge itself (i.e., the hard plastic casing). Doing so risks direct contact with the Octenol substance inside the cartridge. Use in any other way than indicated here can cause higher concentrations which can be harmful to health and cause irritation.
• If Octenol substance inside the cartridge is ingested, immediately call the Poison Control Center or a doctor for advice. Have the person drink water in small sips.
• If the concentrated substance inside the cartridge gets on your skin or in your eyes, immediately wash the skin or rinse the eye slowly and carefully with plenty of water.
• If a person inhales too high a concentration of Octenol, provide fresh air and rest.
• Store unused cartridges in a cool and dry place.
